Philadelphia, PA — NFL player Ian Book hosted his first charity bartending event at Ladder 15, benefiting the Travis Manion Foundation. The foundation aims to empower veterans and families to develop character in future generations.
TMF founder Ryan Manion and teammates Jordan Mailata, Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra, and Cameron Jurgens assisted Book behind the bar. This sold-out night also featured guest appearances by Access Hollywood star Zuri Hall and the Eagles Cheerleaders.
All ticket sales and 10% of food and drink sales supported TMF's programs for veterans and families of fallen heroes. A raffle basket, including two Eagle game tickets and signed merchandise, was also donated to the foundation.
Throughout his career, Ian has dedicated his time off the field to helping underserved youth and Veterans. He aims to create a lasting impact and assist in community outreach for our Nation's warriors. His passion for supporting those who serve comes from his admiration for his brother, who serves in the Army – and is currently on track to graduate as a Green Beret.
